I would like to know where people are making money in mainstream and how it relates to Adult, if it does.

In my oppinion in mainstream you can make money in few ways :

1. Advertisment on your  site
2. Membership.
3. Affiliation programs (mainstream programs)


I originaly started by making mainstream sites, then I changed to adult.  Some times ago I was making like 1200 usd / month from this site : http://www.caricaturi.ro  (by placing pay-per-click ads on the site)  That was long ago
